Database of translators and interpreters (DÜD) - applying for registration for temporary activities (translators and interpreters from other EU/EEA countries)

Liaison interpreters with a business in another EU/EEA country can work in Baden-Württemberg on an occasional, temporary basis. The same applies to document translators. As such, you can apply for registration in the “Database of translators and interpreters” without being sworn in.

Translators and interpreters from other EU/EEA countries can settle or work permanently in Germany. You will find more information in the procedure descriptions

Responsible authority

The President of Stuttgart Regional Court (Landgericht)

Prerequisite

You must be legally settled in an EU or EEA country and working as a liaison interpreter or document translator.
